- What the listed weight includes
- Manufacturer's weight. Tires and accessories can change what you have to carry, so check the version you're ordering.
- Brakes
- Rider-controlled electronic motor braking with regeneration; no separate hand-operated mechanical brake. Full-battery downhill regeneration is a specific manufacturer warning.
- Suspension
- None; comfort comes from the pneumatic tire, tire pressure, and rider technique.
- Tires / wheels
- Slick pneumatic tire; 6-inch Pint hub.
- Battery and charging
- Built-in battery. Standard charging: 225 minutes. Optional faster charger is not included. Use the charger specified for this exact model.
- Included for commuting
- Integrated lights and the named Home Charger. Confirm fender and accessory bundle separately.
- Service and warranty
- Board and included Home Charger: one year or 1,243 miles, whichever comes first. Battery and listed wear parts: six months or 622 miles. Water damage, misuse and damage from unauthorized changes are excluded; the claim and shipment must happen within the warranty period. Future Motion handles support remotely and lists San Jose, California as its only authorized repair facility, so repairs may mean shipping the board.
- Electrical certification
- We haven't verified a system or battery certification record, or an EU Declaration of Conformity, for this model. That doesn't mean none exists. CE marking isn't UL certification, and a certified charger or cell doesn't certify the whole ride.
- What still needs checking
- Check the version and included equipment when ordering.
- Speed / class
- Up to 20 mph, manufacturer claim. Your local speed limit may be lower, and some routes may not allow this ride.
- Tire care
